A new business is making a splash in Worcester! Splasherist, located at 2 New Street, is a fresh addition to the city’s creative landscape. This immersive art studio is a partnership between Oliva Gawad, Bernadett Huszti and Laslo Megysei, offers the chance for people of all ages to explore their artistic side through painting techniques that prioritise fun and freedom. Catering to individuals, families, and corporate groups, Splasherist hosts sessions for up to 15 people and promises a one-of-a-kind experience. Children aged 5-16 can join in too, making it a perfect family activity where everyone leaves with their own artwork.

Oliva Gawad, co-owner of Spalsherist

“The Splasherist Team is so excited to join the many other independent businesses in the Historic City of Worcester! Over the years we’ve seen art thrive in the local community, and we wanted to get involved and encourage others to do so as well. Whether it’s to destress or have some fun, we welcome everyone to come and make a beautiful mess in our studio! Enjoy splashing, spraying and pouring paint, without any rules or guidelines; In fact, we encourage you to paint the walls and each other! We aim to motivate others to use their emotions constructively, whatever they may be feeling, by making a unique piece of artwork that can be cherished forever. It’s also a wonderful way of bringing people together and celebrating those special moments. This experience is open to those of all ages (5+) and abilities, as anyone can become a Splasherist!”

The team will also be introducing Splash & Dance on November 15th, a high-energy workshop where participants can use glow-in-the-dark and neon paints to create art inspired by music and movement. Led by the team, this transformative experience invites you to swirl and splash colours while dancing to the rhythm of your soul under UV lighting. It’s fun, freeing, and sure to make you laugh along the way.

Splasherist is now taking bookings for the festive season, including work parties, VIP workshops, and they even offer vouchers for those hard-to-shop-for loved ones.

Worcester BID is delighted to see Splasherist bringing something truly unique to the city’s vibrant cultural scene. So, whether you want to unleash some rage and splash away, or discover some uninhibited painting styles where mess isn’t a problem, the team is looking forward to welcoming you.
