A. My top tip is tohead straight for the
Tourist InformationCentre at theGuildhall
toget lots of ideas and inspiration for places
to see and visit.Whilst the shopping is
often themaindraw for visitors, there is so
muchmore toWorcester city centre and the
surrounding area. It’sworth taking a look at

Q. What is the top choice for a
business / client meeting?
A. At the start of the 2014 cricket season,
we started a6-year sponsorshipdeal with
WorcestershireCountyCricket Club. As the
club’s official digital partners, we introduced
abrandnewwebsite for both theCricket
Club and thenew facilities at NewRoad. Part
of thedeal enables us touse the corporate
area for businessmeetings and events.We
particularly like to take clients along andhold
abusinessmeetingwhilst amatch is on, and
wehavehad somegreat feedbackon this.
Many local businesses have seats at the
cricket club andwe’ve found it a fantastic
place tomeet and engagewithnew and
existing clients.
Q. Where would you recommend going
to celebrate a client win or positive
business news?
A.We like tohead toBoleroBar andKitchen
inForegateStreet to celebratebusiness and
staff successes as the venue is perfect for
celebratorydrinks or an informal dinner. The
team at Bolero is also keen toworkwithus
to create theperfect atmosphereor setting
whether I am entertaining a client ormy
whole team.
Q. What are the advantages of working
in the Worcester BID area?
A. As abusiness owner inWorcester for a
number of years, I have seen improvements
thanks to the introductionofWorcester
BID. The schemes and events areboth
varied anduseful tobusinesses ingeneral,
and the rangers are a real asset. The
business tobusiness trading and advertising
opportunities are agreatway to learn about
otherWorcester businesses, so thatwhere
possiblewe can aim to keep things local.
